Teresa (Terri) Davis - Executive Assistant
Mrs. Teresa (Terri) Pinholster Davis began her position as BethanyKids Executive Assistant on July 1, 2009. As a young girl she always dreamed of becoming a missionary. The Lord providentially allowed her to be the wife of a preacher for 18 years thus allowing her to be a missionary in her own country. Working for BethanyKids is a life-long dream fulfilled, and she thanks the Lord daily for the opportunity to serve this medical ministry in this capacity.
When she and Rev. Davis married in 1979, she worked for Pitney Bowes. She held several positions with this company, but her favorite was serving as the Branch Secretary. The position was both challenging and fulfilling. She worked directly with the office managers and supported 30 statewide sales representatives.
In 1991 Donald and Terri received the “Foster Parents of the Year” award for the state of South Carolina. They cared for and nurtured 23 handicapped children in their home from 1986 to 1993. They had two primary goals: teaching life skills and loving the children in their care unconditionally. Their goal was to make each child feel secure and successful in a society that had made them feel inadequate and unnecessary. Above all, their desire was to share God’s love!
From 1993 to 2003 Terri was privileged to home school their three daughters. After her children were grown she held a very rewarding position as Secretary for Student Services at North Greenville University. Terri, a native of Georgia, has lived in most of the east coast states. She attended Irmo High School in Irmo, SC and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Donald and Terri have three beautiful daughters, three terrific sons-in-law and seven grandchildren.
Terri has had a most fulfilling and adventurous life, and she is looking forward to the future with great excitement.
