Children and families travel to us from all over Kenya to get help for a variety of medical conditions.  Our missionary surgeons treat frontal encephalocele, children’s brain tumors, bladder exstrophy, ambiguous genitalia, hydrocephalus, Spina bifida, burns, children’s abdominal tumors and many others.  The surgeons pray with the families before the children have surgery and our chaplain, Mercy, makes sure that they all hear about Jesus when they visit the hospital.

The verse that guides our work is: “Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.” Matthew 15:30-31 (NIV)
